Rum Fire Overproof Jamaican Rum

This overproof rum has been available in the US for a few years now and is produced at one of our favorite Jamaican distilleries, Hampden Estate. It's clarity is stunning, and as it pours you'll notice a rich viscosity running down the sides of the glass. It's fruity and estery, with the traditional Jamaican "funk" of quality rum. The palate is dominated by tropical fruits, hazelnuts, and a hint of molasses. The old reggae greats would sip this by the glass, neat, no chaser, are you tuff (gong) enough?
