2020 Markus Prackwieser Gump 'Mediaevum' Vernatsch Trentino Alto-Adige

Another bilingual beauty from the northern edge of Italy, this red is composed entirely of the varietal Vernatsch, also called Schiava. From land that’s been planted to vines for over 200 years, now farmed organically and sustainably, comes a ruby wine with violet and hibiscus aromatics over red berries, soft spice and earthy minerality.
