The 2019 Complant Pinot Noir, Soberanes Vineyard has a cherry red color and a nose of pomegranate, cranberry and raspberry bramble. The palate opens with a savory, almost briny, entry that transitions to cranberry and pomegranate flavors with a slight grip on the finish. The wine has an unusual combination of lacy texture coupled with incredible persistence on the palate, with flavors that linger long after the wine leaves the mouth. With time in the glass, the nose continues to evolve and expresses sea breeze and bing cherry.
