2017 Saison Winery ‘Regan’ Merlot Santa Cruz Mountains

Regan Vineyard is one of the largest and coolest vineyards in the Santa Cruz Mountain region, planted 25 years ago by a 4th generation grower. Mark was immediately drawn to the site, and it became the source for one of Saison’s original wines. This Merlot balances old-word growing and modern winemaking to deliver a clean, natural expression focused on fruit with minimal new oak. Look for cassis, blueberry and blackberry with highlights of fresh mountain herbs and forest floor.
