2016 Quady North 'Layne Vineyard' Cabernet Sauvignon Applegate Valley

This is an old-school style of Cabernet Sauvignon that harkens back to early Napa. The Layne Vineyard naturally produces a high-acid, dense and broody grape and, after years of experience, Quady has learned to get out of the way and let the fruit lead. In 2016, the vintage does the talking, and there’s plenty of sunshine in each gently fruity sip, joined by a light dusting of cocoa from the new oak.
