We strongly recommend a case buy on the 2015 Raymond “Generations.” It’s a broad and mouthfilling bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon made from multiple parcels in St. Helena, Oakville, and Napa.
Parker plum lost his cool for this one, loving its “intense blueberry and blackberry fruit, hints of white flowers intermixed with unsmoked cigar tobacco,” “great intensity,” and “stunning plumpness.” Epic! Lay in a case while it lasts!

We were especially impressed by the following wine, which illustrates Raymond's wild renaissance in quality and, thanks to Jean-Charles, a sultry, far-out image makeover that must be seen to be believed. It's definitely worth a stop on your next visit to the valley.

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Generations is deep garnet-purple in color with an earthy, dried herbs and scorched earth-scented nose over a core of blackberry pie and cassis with Indian spices and menthol. Full-bodied, concentrated and rich in the mouth, with firm, grainy tannins and a savory/earthy character, it finishes long with a mineral hint.
